I am delighted to see France Télévisions once again choose Vendargues and Occitanie for its new studios. This is excellent news that strengthens the Montpellier ecosystem of cultural and creative industries and reinforces our project to make it a hub of international scope.

Out of love for audiovisual creation and because they are major assets for employment and tourism, the Region has made audiovisual a priority. It is a strategy that is now bearing fruit: in 2024, Occitanie will be the leading French region in terms of hosting audiovisual fiction filming and will have more than 11,000 jobs in the sector.

And we are going even further with the Occitanie ça tourne regional plan, with €80 million for 2023-2028 and an ambitious objective: to make Occitanie the leading European audiovisual region, with the creation of more than 5,000 jobs by 2028, and the leading destination in France for international productions.

It is a source of pride to see that our proactive policy continues to attract new projects. We will of course be alongside France Télévisions for this wonderful adventure!
